Exhausted late
Colorless date
Soul shattered; a china plate
Underneath earthquakes of tentativeness weight

Brain afire
with
mislaid desire
atop corporeal funeral pyre
burning fissures so narrow
in the spongy marrow
flesh smoldering by the morrow
unrequited sorrow

Unreleased from self-enclosed cage
persuaded by assiduous rage

cheerless egoistic knives slit wrists
while anger disseminates brutal twists

Behold the timeless, space less age
where voices stirred in awe of the sage

Penultimate sunset blinds finality’s reason
those sweet memories ne’er to reach another season

Cosmic disturbances
bleed through faux rainbows of acid mist
no problems with atmospheric alterations
they insist

microscopic blooming unseen by mortal eyes
eleventh hour floral display reawaken
bumble bees, wasps, ladybugs, butterflies
alas they die from frosty miscalculation

never before, if one can remember
seasons past transitional
future transmissions unconditional
fall ends in December

Unvarying reminders fade in yellowed ledger binder
Misdeeds, missteps, misspoken, meshugganah reminder

Existence compacted
Forgiveness muted
Truth perpetually redacted
Soul’s resources looted

At definitive edges tread softly
Ennui
Facilitate telepathic interactions
Impeding expectations
