Apparently Alias, Cloverfield creator JJ Abrams sees a wholly different direction by chronicling the youthful James T. Kirk and Spock characters rather than starting with the adults we have always known. Slated for a summer 2009 release this trailer gives us a peek. Fans will be the judge as to whether or not it is, to quote Mr. Spoke, “fascinating” or “illogical” to add another ST film to the ever-growing list of films in the money-making franchise.
